Fertility & Women's Health Camp in Guntur

A monthly fertility and women's health camp on the second Wednesday of every month, led by Dr. Sindhura Reka.

On Camp Day

What the Camp Includes

There is no charge for the first consultation on camp day. Any scan or test the doctor advises during the camp is also done without charge.

First fertility consultation

A full consultation with our gynaecologist, for you and your partner together. Your history is taken properly, your earlier reports are reviewed, and you leave knowing what the next sensible step is.

Pelvic scan, if advised

If the doctor advises it after your consultation, a pelvic ultrasound to check the uterus, ovaries and the lining of the womb. This is usually the single most useful first test in a fertility work up for women.

Semen analysis, if advised

If the doctor advises it, a laboratory semen analysis for the male partner, covering count, motility and shape. Roughly a third of infertility is male factor, so testing both partners from the start saves months.

First pregnancy check up, if advised

If you think you may already be pregnant and the doctor advises it, a first check up and confirmation, with advice on what to do next and when to start antenatal care.

Next camp: Wednesday, 11 November 2026. To register, call 92814 55735 or send us a WhatsApp message.

Why We Run This Camp

Most couples who struggle to conceive wait far too long before asking anyone. Often it is simply not knowing whether it is too early to worry. That delay makes treatment harder later, because fertility is one of the few areas of medicine where time genuinely matters.

So once a month the hospital holds a camp. On the second Wednesday you can sit down with a gynaecologist, have a scan or semen analysis done if the doctor advises it, and walk out with a clear answer about where you stand. If nothing is wrong, you will be told that plainly and sent home reassured. If something needs attention, you will know early, which is exactly when it is most treatable.

When and Where

The camp runs on the second Wednesday of every month at Mahika Multispeciality Hospital, Opposite Jute Mill, Pattabhipuram Main Road, beside Golden Home Apartments, Krishna Nagar, Guntur 522006. Please register before you come so we can plan the day, and please arrive with your partner if you are attending for fertility concerns. Camp day timings are confirmed when you register.

What to Bring

Bring any previous fertility reports, hormone and semen analysis results, scan images, records of earlier treatment cycles, and details of any surgery either partner has had. A note of your menstrual cycle dates over the last few months is genuinely useful, and please carry a photo ID.

When is the fertility camp held?
The camp is held at Mahika Multispeciality Hospital, Guntur on the second Wednesday of every month. To register, call 92814 55735 or send a WhatsApp message. Please register before you come so we can plan the day.
What does the camp include, and is there a charge?
The camp includes a first fertility consultation and counselling. If the doctor advises them, a pelvic scan for women, a semen analysis for the male partner and a first pregnancy check up are also done. There is no charge for the first consultation on camp day, and any scan or test the doctor advises during the camp is also done without charge.
Is there any hidden cost?
No. If your results show that further tests or treatment are needed, the cost of those will be explained to you clearly before anything is done, and you are free to take that decision in your own time or elsewhere.
Should my husband come with me?
Yes, please come as a couple if you can. Male factor accounts for a substantial share of infertility, and the semen analysis, when advised, is for the male partner. Assessing only one partner gives half a picture.
What should we bring?
Any previous fertility reports, hormone and semen analysis results, scan images, records of earlier treatment, and details of any surgery either of you has had. A note of your menstrual cycle dates over recent months is useful. Bring a photo ID as well.
Do we have to be trying for a certain length of time?
Not for the camp. In general, couples are advised to seek an opinion after a year of trying, or after six months if the woman is over 35 or there is a known problem. If you are unsure whether it is too early, come anyway and ask.
Who leads the camp?
Consultations are led by Dr. Sindhura Reka, consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist at Mahika Multispeciality Hospital, supported by the hospital's scanning and laboratory teams.
What happens after the camp consultation?
You will be told plainly what your results show and what the options are. For some couples that means simple advice and a repeat check in a few months. For others it means ovulation induction or IUI.
